I'm very sad, that @oppen recently decided to change the license of Ariane to an own, not OSI approved license.


In this sense Ariane is no longer free software in the OSI sense. 😞

Unfortunately, many people publish work under some "no commercial use allowed" licenses, wondering why their work is being ignored.

Reason is that you can't use such work in GPL and/or Apache and/or MIT licensed projects, because such licenses imply the possibility of commercial use.
