@ignitionigel IPFS and ActivityPub support are different than a torrent. Can you subscribe to torrent uploaders new torrents?
@dansup @ignitionigel Wait what... Is #Pixelfed going to use #IPFS? That would be amazing! One of the biggest problems I see with federated services where many nodes are run from people's homes is downtime. We really need to see more #federated services offering redundancy by having the data available from multiple nodes via #IPFS or similar...
