Trees, it's trees, and we should be growing them instead of grain to feed animals which we kill for food.

My mock-up looks by now like a shoe \o/
Unfortunatly, there is somehow fabric missing between the side and the front parts🤔
There is also a bit too much fabric at the seam in the back.
Well, that's why I made the mock-up, to find my mistakes, and now I can adjust the pattern.
I also noticed that I need bigger seam allowances.
The line was made with soap, because I couldn't find my chalk, which works surprisingly well, it didn't vanish at all.
Mittlerweile bin ich auch auf dem Weg nach Hause vom Geekend. Es war großartig 😊
I've told my own students how programming conventions are about appreciating reading code and not about making it easier to write, and my frustration at CS curriculum that "doesn't teach you how to read, yet grades you on your poetry" https://twitter.com/leftoblique/status/1114951714807791616
In North America, albino redwood trees are quite well known. Unable to support themselves, they survive purely through the help of the other trees which surround them. In a forest, those with more always give to those with less, so that all can survive.
That's an example for all of us to learn from.
I love the curbcut effect. (Might have the name wrong). The idea is that when you improve accessibility for one group, it tends to help everyone. So you put those cuts into the curb for wheelchair and it also helps people moving packages with trolleys, and with strollers, etc.
New example I've found. Webcomics that put the script under the comic for people with screenreaders and such. SUDDENLY I CAN ACTUALLY FIND OLD COMICS WITH GOOGLE WHEN I WANT TO SHOW PEOPLE A SPECIFIC JOKE.

This is an important thread that speaks so much to relate to. Especially the part about "if love is given too freely or easily, it doesn't feel safe."
People who know me are aware that I have a hard time dealing with compliments, and always second-guess the intentions of them. It's difficult for me to just accept them as being honest or frank.
I just had my first #KravMaga lesson. It is a women only class and was a lot of fun :D
