@Zenwood

yeah...that's a badass song. Definitely one of my faves. Here's a Mastodon treat for you

@Zenwood

Shit....I'm bad under pressure. Honestly, I probably haven't even heard all of their music. Maybe Ten Years Gone? In My Time of Dying? So hard...

@IndignantBastard
Simon and Garfunkel, Modest Mouse (early), Sufjan Stevens, London Philharmonic, Prince

@fussybritches

I've heard of Modest Mouse but don't think I've listened to them. I love classical music but know next to nothing about it. London Philharmonic sounds like fun.

@IndignantBastard London Phil always has great performances no matter the composer.

If you try Modest Mouse, start with Moon and Antarctica and go backwards from there. All of their newer music is too pop for my taste.

@fussybritches

Are mice really that modest though? Cheese stealing linoleum wheeling varmints!

@IndignantBastard Just one, apparently. Maybe he was different from the other mice and he took to music as an escape. 😝

@IndignantBastard
Fates Warning
Queen
Dio
Riverside
Kajiura Yuki

@Gallowglass

Will have to peep some of that later as I haven't heard of three of those:)

@IndignantBastard - taking a wild guess: Fates Warning is progressive metal with a touch of post rock; Riverside is blues inspired progressive rock with electronic music influences; and Kajiura is a composer that has her hands in a ton of different projects under her own name and a few others (Kalafina, Fiction Junction, etc)

@IndignantBastard Do they have to be groups?

Earth, Wind, and Fire
Beastie Boys
Budos Band
Amon Amarth
Hall & Oates
