What is your favorite movie from the 90's?
@IndignantBastard Run Lola Run
Ugh! So many choices...
🤔
@IndignantBastard omg omg omg omg omg........ omg omg omg omg.........
I know my favorite movie from the 90s!!
CONTACT
Yeah, that's a pretty dope movie; no doubt about it.
@Averly @IndignantBastard contact WAS the correct answer! ❤ I fucking love that movie
@shivian @Averly @IndignantBastard I kind of want to say Clueless, but, yeah, Contact, and hey, I had forgotten that Toy Story came out in the 90s too.
@IndignantBastard @shivian @Averly That's an offer I can't refuse.
I will be your consillyeeeorree
@IndignantBastard Just ONE? Thats impossible, so I'll try to cut it down to three. Fight Club, as @PicklesTFC says. Star Trek 9 (Insurrection) was great b/c of the audience in the cinema. One I discovered much later than the 90ies was "Fatherland" (1994). And I liked "SLC Punk" (1998) very much in the 90ies. Ok, 4 instead of 3, I can't do better ;D
@dennix @IndignantBastard You're totally getting followed for SLC Punk.
Whatis that?
I never saw it. Looks like fun.
@IndignantBastard I can't believe I just googled for you.
Fight Club.
Eh, doesn't do it for me on repeat viewings.
@IndignantBastard Galaxy Quest!
@IndignantBastard The Land Before Time
@IndignantBastard Pump Up the Volume.
I still want my own pirated, underground AM radio talk show. I've always wanted to do it.
@IndignantBastard Same! I had one of those 101 electrical experiments in one kit that i tried to get working as a transmitter.. natch.. Didn't learn enough ! Working torwards my Ham radio license though! Consolation prize i figure :)
That sounds like fun! I've always wanted to get into it but just haven't. Radio is probably my favorite medium to listen/learn from.
I have no idea what this means but I'm assuming it has something to do with radio. lol
@IndignantBastard All of them?
@IndignantBastard How about Empire Records.
I like that one
@IndignantBastard Cool Runnings
@IndignantBastard Waterworld
@IndignantBastard Boogie Nights
@IndignantBastard Ok, for realz, Half Baked and Office Space.
Both really funny
@IndignantBastard The Fifth Element
My goodness there's a lot to be nostalgic about in these lists of 90s movies I had to review before answering. I am still reluctant to commit to just one movie, so I'll also mention Being John Malkovich.
@stylus @IndignantBastard I forgot about Fifth Element! I want to jump on this bandwagon now.
@IndignantBastard @stylus Well, Fr. Cornelius's first name is Vito... 🤔
Yeah, that's a great flick.
I like your owl. I was just commenting on here last week about how amazing of a predator owls are. I never knew until I started doing more research.
@IndignantBastard Thanks. I don't know a lot about owls myself, but at some point I started using this particular photo as my avatar.
According to my records, this is a Lesser Sooty Owl, which I photographed at the Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat in Queensland, Australia in 2012.
This is baby owl coveting a mushroom https://social.tchncs.de/media/HEjCXVzd7g32OxJdUUY
@IndignantBastard Only one? The 90s brought indie films into the mainstream. It's difficult to choose, but I probably have to go with Fight Club. And you?
