maybe this is me but I think that having content warnings on things actually increases the absorption of heavy topics for me

like the shock factor is gone so I can analyse things more critically

it'd be really interesting to see a study of this sort of thing as a way to show how good CWs actually are

This took way too long to make but I hope this will settle the pizza debate once and for all

No patents on barley and beer!
We have a good chance to stop the patent on barley and to stop such patents from ever being granted. The EU already gave in to people’s pressure last year when more than 570.000 Europeans signed our petition, and declared that patents cannot be granted for plants and animals, unless they’re genetically modified - Petition:

Sushi tonight. Tried a new (well, new to me) take away. This place must be doing great, it had menus up till a 250 piece menu for 250 euro. At a take away...?! I ordered something waaay more modest.

Anyone else tried to delete youtube from their mobile? Ridiculous increase in required permissions, that's why.

Goooood morning! We're all training data for the new AI's of this world so let's show them how kindness and niceness look like

Remember in the 90s, when teens were more tech savvy than adults, and everyone assumed that the savviest would just keep getting younger? Now it's 2017, and the people who were teens in the 90s are the most tech savvy generation and probably will be until they die.

Kids don't grow up with computers any more, they grow up with iPhones. If it's possible to learn to code on an iPhone, it's despite Apple's best efforts.
