oh hey, by my math currently more than half of all Mastodon accounts are on instances other than mastodon.social
@schlink did you factor in that people have accounts on multiple instances? Yesterday i saw someone with 5 instances named in their profile, so i borrowed their idea
@schlink nah, problem is when you want to add the accounts/users. So basically stems from _understanding_ this federalism thing. Most will get this on the first day, i'd say. -i'm just a newby here myself. Was curious how one could factor that out, if at all possible. Will think about it some more
