@MrVocalplay why not use only the bookmark? I think it works pretty well.
@affenrakete that’s true.. but sometimes I like to have notifications, that’s not possible with the bookmark I realized
@MrVocalplay that’s a point. I personally disallow notifications for most of my apps, so that’s not big of a deal to me.
@affenrakete iOS does have a really good notification management with its focus features.. so I set it up that my phone doesn’t ring or so. Only when I go to the notification area it’s shown in some accessions. I like that one. Still not getting bothered but there when I need / want an overview of notifications
@MrVocalplay I tried a lot apps and the „pin to homescreen“, the pin is quite nice but if you really mean to use an app, since two days I‘m using Toot! (https://apps.apple.com/de/app/toot/id1229021451) which is really comfy and in my opinion it delivers everything you might need. Tootle is quite nice and has lit extra features which are nice, but this really needs some bugfixing. For now the best I can recommend is Toot!
@Azrat thanks for you reply.. I’m using the pin to homescreen for a couple days now and like it. The only thing I’m missing is notifications. Toot was often recommend. My only concern there is that it was last updated one year ago. But maby I’ll give it a try.
@MrVocalplay I always read people recommending metatext and toot as good third-party apps.
Apparently @gargron does not want to include local timelines in the app.
