@Secstodon I did the same thing a thousand times. But it always throws me this error with a different key.

There is more to it though but I couldn't copy it all here.

This is getting so annoying. :D

And secret according to who? It gave me like thousands of secret keys even though I had already put another one and it was where exactly it was supposed to be. But didn't work anyway.

Keeps saying use this secret key everytime with a different key but never works.

@PorFavorDama I wouldn't know, I haven't messed with Mastodon specifically and just know general full stack/sysadmin bullshit. You set it up on a clean image? Uncommon one off errors lead me to just reimage the VPS :^), they're the worst.

Actually, once you've tried and failed at some point then in the next try you will just get used to the basic steps till that point, at least will be a better configuration.
