After persistent connection problems, I have moved instance.
Bit sad about that because @milan seems like a lovely bloke.
Anyway, I am now at @RunningInCircles if you read this.
I have managed to grab my follow list, so you might get a heads up in that regard.
Some of today's trail pics.
Some change in colours as things start to move through the season ๐

Sunday, the day where there is an opportunity for a lay in.
Sometime just before 6:30am the body and mind conspires to wake and demand to be up and active.
Harumph...
Oh well, plenty of time for coffee and breakfast before a run.
Why it is called a "patch".
My youngest is in a dance show tonight.
Solo plus a dance with stunting as half of them are gymnasts as well as dancers, as is their teacher.
Will be fun I'm sure.
But for now I have Twisted Sister in the background as an antidote to the inevitable relentless pop and sweetness to come....
Don't use the laptop much, but eldest child's tablet died, so she has mine at the moment.
Weekends kill my phone battery fast and I tend not to be around the desktop machine ๐
Though, to be fair, the laptop is also often purloined by the youngest for Minecraft ๐ so I don't get to that much either...
Ohhh, so the reason why I cannot login to social.tchncs.de on my laptop is not because I cannot remember the password I used, or the email address.
It was because when I set it up, I misspelt the word mastodon before the @ in the email ๐ฎ
I am a muppet ๐
Now fixed and mastodon spelt correctly.
The advantage of your own domains for email is flexible email addresses.
The disadvantage of your own domains for email is flexible email addresses. ๐
If you want to know why you should be pissed about EME/DRM in your browser, it's because it will not likely stop /me/ from finding a way around it to access that content through unauthorized means, but it will likely make it a pain in the ass for /you/ to access content you pay for, and that content you pay for /will/ be taken away from you eventually.
Oops, wait for Tusky to attach it this time perhaps ๐
Postman brought this today...
Much faff to jump through the hoops required, but another piece of the puzzle sorted. ๐
Interesting Github issue of the day:
"Feature request: new notification type when a user you interact with changes they profile picture"

This is something I had not thought of but would really appreciate! :)
Shopping for the week done and unloaded into the cupboards and fridges.
Just waiting for the hocks to finish cooking so I can strip them, one for my lunches and one for the cat ๐
The old boy is not really eating cat food much any more, so is being given meat and tuna for a lot of his meals now...
Plus he has developed a strange habit of upturning his water bowl on a regular basis?!?
Just got back in range of 3g signal, this was walking towards the hut some days ago
Parkrun done. At the coffee shop chilling.
Some semblance of normality resuming after a mad week with lots of traveling.
Job didn't work out.
But on the upside, I have a lead on something potentially really awesome working with autistic children about an hour's drive from the Cairngorms ๐๏ธ ๐
Another shield picture? Yes! This time with the helm and axe I got for it.

every day get weirder and kinder to each other
Copper coins hammered into a tree trunk as an offering to the fairies...
Just below Janet's Foss.
Some of today's trail pictures.
Janet's Foss and Gordale Scar.
My reward for lots of driving was a run up here and back ๐

Tomorrow is going to be *weird*
Stepping back into a classroom to teach high school students again. Albeit just a 25 minute lesson for an interview, but still...
The oddball feeling started with using Mr instead of my forename on the resources I made yesterday.
The old phrase "Don't call me sir, I work for a living" doesn't work in most teaching environments. Sir/Miss or similar is expected, not by me, but the institution.
A day of driving, what a joy ๐
Just done a workout, and taking my running gear and yoga mat for the other end of the journey to at least *try* and counter some of the relentless sitting...
