Sometimes, dumbing explanations down things to "keep it simple" actually makes them more confusing.
This dialog box gives:
1. A good reason to unlock it
2. No reason to keep it locked at all
3. Has unlocking disabled by default
Why, if there is no reason to keep it locked, would I ever want to keep it locked? If the action is always safe, why isn't it just done automatically?
So yeah, this dialog box left me with more questions than answers.
Don't get me wrong though, this isn't Home Assistant bashing, I'm amazed at how user-friendly it is and these trade-offs are very difficult to make. It is more of a "by trying to keep things simple, you may confuse users more than if you give them the full explanation, so please keep that in mind with UI design".
