The new Trump administration have begun their book banning, and Julianne Moore's children's book "Freckleface Strawberry" has been banned, because it teaches children not to be sad that they are different, because everyone is different in some way — and that is just too inclusive to the hate administration.
@randahl one comment (Evans) puts it perfectly: „… literally a children’s book that is banned for telling children that it’s okay to be different. It is now state policy that it is not okay to be different, not even with freckles …“
This is the main defining sign of fascism. Divide between people like you and everyone different and declare those as evil „Volksfeinde“. Thus forcing you to oust everyone different because you mustn't be friends with Volkfeinde or you're an evil Volksverräter.

I guess autism will be looked at as a sign of people with less worth or at least in need of taken „care“ of by a special authority. Unlucky if it will be considered as a flaw to be eliminated, not much better if it is considered a gift to be exploited. There looms encampment in both cases.

@Ulan_KA @randahl in Communist Romania there was a saying which translated, roughly means: "the party wants you with your hair cut".
Men had to have short hair and women could wear it long. The idea was that everyone had to be the same. Individuality was a sin.
Romania had one of the most draconian regimes. And we still remember it. The generation that were adults during that regime still behave fairly servile. You can see the lack of self confidence.

Be a thinker on your own, refuse the Heil and mein Führer bellowing, stay away from rallies or Wehrsportübung and some stupid little snitch in brown shirt will see an opportunity to bring a Volksverräter to justice. And maybe earn some brownie points or grab your belongings.
@Ulan_KA @randahl Ich stimme dir zu. Leider, hier in USA, ist Parteiangehoerigkeit sortiert bei Ausbilldungsniveau, Hautfarbe, und Bundestaat. Weisse die auf 'em Land leben sind angesehen als Republikaner und freundlich zu Autoritaeren. Die haben relative wenig zu fuerchten, ihre meinung nach.
Die Wahrheit ist das die kommende Wirtschaftskrise wird noch schlimmer fuer denen. Die Deppen.
