Folks it's important to remember to call sleep() often in your code. Computers get sleepy too. Your programs will thank you for it.

Another WW2 bomb found in #Freiburg this evening. Seems they'll begin to try defusing it soon.

Had been buried below a car dealership for the past decades, which recently moved to a new place. Not far from university hospital.

#RIPE has assigned the last block from the 185/8 space.

This means there are no more pristine IPv4 addresses available in Europe, Middle East, or CIS.

RIPE still has a /9 of issuable space, but that is returned/revoked addresses from LIRs, and from the IANA returned pool.

Starting to scrape the bottom of the barrel for #IPv4.

Highlights include massive improvement in support for #armv7/#arm64 platforms, #vmm virtualization on #amd64/#i386 platforms, #wifi (including roaming), more of the network stack is unlocked, and no artificial limits in #IPv6 autoconfiguration.

Don't ask me too hard exactly why, or what I'm actually going to do with it, but I've finally got myself an install of AT&T System V #Unix running on physical hardware which I've wanted for a while.

Source media here: winworldpc.com/product/att-sys I used Bochs as a middleman basically just to fake having a floppy drive and write directly to a CF card on an IDE adapter. It was easier than finding disks and a working floppy drive.
