@bekopharm It's the opposite, we are aggressively sanitizing anything that remotely looks like a HTML tag.
@hypolite escaping should be sufficient. Removing characters is bad.
@bekopharm I know. It's been a challenge since 2016 going through Friendica legacy code and undoing all the weird stuff while maintaining features.
