The only thing that is easy to follow is the ending. Everything before that nigh incomprehensible meta-commentary

OK, so I'm looking for work, if you see something matching my profile - please pass it my way.

Got broad nerd qualifications, linux-first since 2003, high interest in privacy/security, some sysadmin skills (running some services since >15yrs), semi-advanced project management, organised anything from small tech projects to logistics for big events with thousands of people. TV production technician by education.

Most of my experience scares away corporates, and I'm really bad at writing CV's.

i want people to understand that "tech worker" means anything from a Zuckerberg-type actively making society worse to a grossly underpaid code monkey working in a toxic environment that makes them cry to sleep at night in their 1-bedroom slumlord-operated apartment

When you feel incompetent because someone at work is helping you with someone code that reference to work. :(

Watching Jonny Mnemonic with the wife and realized that it takes place in an alternative 2021 where we were not in lockdown

I wander what interesting use of are out there that I haven't come across.

It might sound corny at first, but try listing just three things a day you're grateful for. You can do it in a cheap notebook and no one ever has to see it but you.

Reading Downfall by Inio Asano. I'm not sure how to put it other then it makes me feel sad for some reason.

@cwebber any plans to restart the reviewpub topic/example code/server on libre lounge?

When someone uses an hmac256 for data validation and you are the one task to decoded :mastosob:

Facepalm: spend the day debugging a issue when it tarns out I had an extra () in one of my let bindings

So I haven't been here in a while. What did I miss?

Trying to find a job as a developer is definitely turning me from a socialist to an anarchist CC: @emerican

@emerican question, as a leftis app developer how can my skills be use to help the left. I don't make content like you and many others do on lefttube but I have always wanted to help in some way I just don't know how with my skills

Regards,

A Comrade
