i dont see color = i dont see racism
all lives matter = i don't see black lives
@jookia Mh, I kinda disagree on the second one, though. Shouldn't all lives matter equally? And not be separated by colour, race, religion, etc?
Shouldn't that be our goal as a society?
Or do I have an error in my thinking somewhere?
@LunaDragofelis @Soundsphere @jookia Part of me feels like, when I hear "black lives matter", that it implies "no other lives matter". I know that's not what most people intend with the phrase. But I also know that some people think reverse racism is a just and proper solution to racism, when in fact it's just replacing one racial tyranny with another. The real solution is no racial tyranny, and no tyranny at all.
@faoluin @LunaDragofelis @jookia I'd love to live in a world where all that shit we're dealing with today doesn't exist. Where nobody is discriminated agains on colour, race etc.
When I say "all lives matter", I certainly don't mean to discredid the "black lives matter" movement. I just mean that, no racism or discrimination of any kind.
@jookia post made me think about my stance and if I am making an error in my thought process somewhere
@Soundsphere 'all lives matter' is only said in response to 'black lives matter', discounting the point
