Was trying to use it with fritz.box:
Same problem as in kuketz-forum:
ParseAddr(„fritz.box“): unexpected character (at „fritz.box“)

Will give it another try with new version. Maybe some editing of the import config file helps.

When using hostname as DNS address for WireGuard? You can replace it with fritz.box's IP address to workaround if you're on v055a.

In the latest version v055b, the DNS field supports adding hostnames like fritz.box. Does it not work for you?

With 0.55c the profile import works out of the box. The router confirms successful wireguard tunnel but traffic is not running through.
Internal devices not reachable and public ip address differs from the router. With wireguard app everything works as expected.
Tested with pixel 7a @ grapheneOS

Have you enabled "Enable network visibility" from Configure -> Network? If so, turn it off and see if things work as expected?

Are you running WireGuard in "Simple" mode or "Advanced" mode? If in "Advanced" mode, you'd have to add apps to the WireGuard profile. Enable "Lockdown" for that WireGuard profile to prevent the app from connecting outside of that WireGuard tunnel, if needed.

@wasesha @kuketzblog Da habe ich die Befürchtung, dass einige Apps, die auf Hintergrunddaten angewiesen sind (zum Beispiel Threema), nicht mehr korrekt funktionieren.

@monospacedmagic @kuketzblog Du kannst mit VPN kein LAN Zugriff beschränken. LAN Traffic wird nicht über den VPN Tunnel geleitet.

@monospacedmagic @kuketzblog Ja, man kann alle LAN-Verbindungen unterbinden, das ist korrekt. Aber damit verlieren alle Apps LAN Zugriff - auch Apps die ihn benötigen. Ich vermute, dass hierzu die kill switch Einstellung genutzt wird. Das geht mit den meisten VPNs.
Allerdings ist das keine Methode, um den LAN Zugriff gezielt zu steuern, wie z. B. mit AFWall+. Außerdem wird dadurch aller Traffic über ProtonVPN geleitet, das will ich nicht.
