@mateMathieu I agree. But I don't think the developers of Mastodon expected such a hype.
There have been scholar work and practical engineering example to set clean hosted data on it own server and at the same time, host other servers' encrypted data, feeding the demand as queries are coming up. Anyways, I digress
I wonder if it is scale-able in terms of load balancing to set the nodes all together rather than having multiple nodes hosting their users. Here cryptography is key...
