@philip that is what I thought too. This is the problem with open sourcing a platform like this. It relies on individuals to act like large companies to ensure 100% uptime and it just isn't ever going to be that way. If you are going to put it in the hands of individuals it need to be an interconnected system that factors in redundancies.
Also also intuitiv würde ich Mastodon bisher nicht bezeichnen. Ein paar einfach Erläuterungen zu den unterschiedlichen Timelines wäre schon hilfreich.
