@random_musings
You could use phanpy webapp.
@hirad Thanks for the advice! That's a good start and I like the approach. I still think that more could be done with all the whitespace on the timeline (e.g., showing reactions in a separate stream).
@random_musings If you're up for a more free-form, adjustable approach, you could try browser-native with Sengi:

Not sure how it scales on a tablet but maybe worth a try.
PS: You can also go full tinfoil-hat and self-host the landing page from what I see on their Github.
@b2c Thanks for the suggestion. Having multiple streams is a useful start but it would still be great to have an app smartly make use of all the screen real-estate I have. But I guess Sengi will have to do for the time being.
@random_musings Yeah, I get it... thinking of it, did you look into the native "Advanced" web interface of Mastodon? It looks kind of similar (Tweetdeck-style), and you can fill the screen with additional columns which you can set to e.g. hashtags or lists and pin them. Maybe the better approach if you have only Mastodn account. Fills up my 27"er quite nicely ;)
