@rufposten I've noticed in last 2 years (I only started driving in 2019) YouTube has toned down most of the politics in my recommendations, and stepped up the number of motoring-related videos and 1980s European pop music.

I've always suspected they have profiles for "middle aged Northern European who uses adblockers/privacy software" that hides the more egregious content, maybe to try and reduce pushback from European govts/regulators (and keep my age group from abandoning YT altogether)
