@Averly I tend to do this too, mostly in languages like German that I understand to an extent but am not always confident to join in a longer discussion and the toot is something I approve of.. (its usually amongst mutuals so no one seems to mind, and I'd rather do that than toot a reply in English). I also use the favs to "bookmark" interesting toots in DE or NL so I can read them more than once..
