It's literally been downloading updates for a whole full 24-hour day. I have fibre. This is not a low end pc. Wtf Windows 10
@Siphonay alas, that is normal.
I now plan for 1-2 days (from the day the hardware arrives on site) to provide a new Win10 PC to endusers at work and I've had to install three recently.
(this is not my choice, since 10 years ago I'd rather use Linux but European healthcare is still seen as too much of a "niche market" for developers to write software for (including *important* things like printer drivers) alas, the UI on much software isn't as easy to use for non techies as Microsoft..
