@colon_three ISTR reading somewhere that a significant number of cats in Scotland have Scottish wildcat genes

I have also seen a photo of a wildcat hybrid a lass from Dumfries kept as a family pet alongside other rescue cats, which English zoologists claimed was impossible (she just said "what would they know?" 😆 )

(it had all the right markings, broader tail etc and was the most dominant out of the group of cats)
