@schestowitz looks like his is spending his middle age working on arts/music projects that he probably didn't have as much time to do when in the tech industry.
He also has a Twitter feed which interestingly only started in 2016 - I think he would have been about 60 then.
So I guess he has semi-retired from the tech industry which seems a perfectly reasonable thing to do if you can afford it..
