@arrrg @JugglingWithEggs TBH what we need in Britain is market intervention to make electricity (much of which is already from renewable sources) cheaper with respect to gas or at least in line with elsewhere in Europe, on top of investment in training for general electricians and heat pump installers (so those who can't immediately have a heat pump could at least switch from gas to electric heating)
