Thankful for decent disk brakes and 150 lumen lights on my #ebike - on the ride home a large #badger ran out right in front of me; 30->0 km/h in 0,25 seconds and both of us escaped unharmed..
(not the actual badger, it had run away and I was a bit shaken up by this and wanted to get home safely rather than take photos..)

Deer are the worst. One runs out in front of me on the motorbike and I'm thinking "Where are the rest of them? Speed up, slow down? Aaaagh, cross fingers...."
That said I swear squirrels can run through the spokes of my mountain bike*.
*Not really, but they definitely get _very_ close
