Another observation on my song of the day. I don't see young people dancing at clubs and venues like we did back then. They just crowd the stage with their thumbs in their pockets. We danced and it was encouraged. Dance, I think, was the consummate expression of enjoying the music. I don't know if raising the drinking age to 21 or what changed it. I remember a popular Tshirt from our time that said, "Fuck art, let's dance." I think we need more of that.

@DistroJunkie that, and more judgement over drug taking -*not* from cops/feds/govts who are more lenient nowadays, but within young peoples own peer groups.

Today everything shared on social media with photos/videos , hard to hide "controversial" lifestyle from less close friends, parents etc.

Also drugs like MDMA (especially in Europe) are sold in way too strong form now, 200/300mg per tablet (enough for 4 people!); if one person takes that they can get nasty scare or even fatal OD!
