You write a post. Sure it would strike gold. You added a Twitter link, instant flop, unless it's about leaving hellbird. Lol 😂

@maloki alas I think some people now only do this because birb changed their UI a month or so ago making it a *lot* harder to unpick pictures and other content out of a tweet unless you screenshot and paste it, which isn't as easy to do on some devices such as mobile phones.

I suspect they are noticing a drop in traffic/engagement, but whilst "locking in users they introduced a worse contrast problem than here making everything harder to see (even after recovery from recent eyesight issues)

@maloki maybe I get different stuff in my timelines but what I do see is useful cycling/road safety info that traditionally ends up on Twitter more, and the folk tooting it are unable to cut and paste the whole content for various reasons, its sometimes difficult for me to alert them to this as the content is in third languages like German and I'm still learning it!

I try if possible to pick out the actual web article, retoot with an English explanation and try and deny birbsite the traffic.

@maloki maybe what I am referring to happens especially with cycling related stuff, probably because folk use birbsite in a more localised way to vent at unsafe situations in their personal location; but from many discussions with on here its clear the same problems are common to UK and DE at least. I wish more NL cyclists who are still on birbsite would toot here (whether in EN or NL) as they often show examples of good practice and other more positive things for cyclists!
