2. Discuss the ethical implications and try to get them to reconsider
3. If you can afford to refuse please do

@worr @pinkprius although not 100% code (involved hardware work too), I still remember 30 years ago having to deal with family conflict and disappoint my father because I refused to take an apprenticeship at either AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) or British Telecom (which then did a lot more defence/surveillance related work alongside GCHQ).
It was a diffficult time for me and my family (as we weren't rich) but we got through it OK and still managed to get a career in tech..
