Today's plan initially included this year's first bike ride along the Berlin Wall Trail.
Unfortunately I had a nasty flat tyre and I didn't have full trust in the tyre and the patch anymore so I decided to head home 30 km instead of doing the remaining 90.

"Riding up that hill"...

'Dörferblick' (village view), one of the several hills made of WW2 debris where you can see surrounding localities.

@encarsia where I live (Eastern England) there is a lot of flint around, a shard of this once even managed to pierce a Schwalbe Marathon (sold as "unplattbar" and advertised as being able to run over drawing pins without problems..)

@vfrmedia I ride Marathon Plus and it just happens from time to time (once or twice a year). Nonetheless after about 2 years the tyres are quite tattered _because_ they work as advertised.

@encarsia I thought I recognised them but wasn't sure (the reflective strip does pick up dirt after a while).

My current pedelec has similar tyres to these but from a Taiwanese company called Kenda (thankfully they are similarly robust).

UK roads (on commuter routes) are reallly not good and there is much broken glass and all sorts else in the bike paths..
