Back in the mid-1990s when I got online for the first time, freedom of speech was one of the most valued aspects of being online at all, knowing people should be able to express their opinion (whichever that is) as long as they adhere to certain netiquette rules and behaviours and respect each other. I wonder what happened, all along the lines, to make "free speech" something people use synonymously for something bad... 😟
