Interesting experience talking to customers: There's a very enthusiastic IT department talking about hosting its own Linux servers, with a carefully crafted environment for automation, management and backup, merrily adding more and more services and tools on top of that because why not, proudly proclaiming the corporate IT strategy to focus on FLOSS and self-hosting. ... becoming increasingly more complex, more expensive and inefficient and is considered to waste time (and budget) on their pet / playground projects without adding anything to achieving the corporate objectives. Tough environment, I wouldn't want to work there. And ... interesting question who's to blame for that. 😐
