The first Apple Watch was introduced 1995.
It's #contemporary #design is standing out after 30 years, still. While it was deeply integrated into #MacOS System 7.5, it's not one of their digital #gadgets. This #anniversary seems to be perfect to revisit and redraw some shacky lines and seconds in corporate #history of #AppleComputers.

#Apple lost me as #proUser when they rejected my third warranty case in a row.
To rebuild the #AppleWatch from scratch in #vectorgraphics I prefer #Inkscape #SVG #copyleft on #Linux #FOSS over #Adobe #Illustrator #Ai #IP #copyright #software.

Go get the best #vector #designer #app

and you can draw freely #retrocomputer #illustrations like we do.

1978 Apple Computer Advertisement from 1978

The image features a vintage advertisement for Apple Computers.
At the center of the ad is an Apple computer, accompanied by text that reads: "The era of the personal computer".
Below this, there's an intriguing statement, "Now there's your challenge!", followed by, "Apple will change your life in just 3 years!" The ad also mentions a fun, games, and graphics show and offers a free demonstration for those interested.

Hey, #Apple people!

I'm a librarian and as the "techy" person, they send all the tech help questions to me. Windows and Android I'm fine with, MacOS I'm okay, (I had a Macbook Pro circa 2007) but the last iOS device I've owned is a 1st gen iPod Touch (also 2007)

I'd like to get my own device to try and learn iOS to help patrons. I don't have the money to buy a new iAnything new. I'm looking on ebay, but the real cheap ones are iOS 9.

How far off is iOS 9 to the modern experience? Is iOS 10 any better? Beyond that it goes above my $50 limit.

Thanks!

Dear #AppleComputers: your #iOS app designers need to communicate more closely and conform to a single standard for #UI design, placement, and behavior. Take for example your Photos app versus your Files app. Both have a section "Recently deleted". Great! And both allow us to select items. Great! But for Photos, the Delete All button sits on the left. And for Files, it sits on the right. That does not let us learn to pick the correct button quickly. #UX #QA
