Karsten Johansson<p>It's almost Spring, which means one very big thing to me. </p><p>I own 15 guitars. It's time for the annual major maintenance!</p><p>This time I'm recording videos of the process, because they always need a variety of repairs and adjustments, and you never know what they need til you get there. With any luck, there will be enough interesting repairs and whatnots to make a short video series of how it is done. I think guitarists in general might find the upkeep interesting. </p><p>I'm also going to document my effects chain, 'cos it's gotten pretty wild over the years. It's not limited to serial effects on the floor. There is a lot of parallel tone sculpting, which I pretty much only ever see used on pro pedal boards. I'm thinking about rebuilding parts of it to demonstrate the concept. Lord knows I have more than enough cabling and pedals on the shelf for it. </p><p>If you do this sort of thing online, gimme a link. </p><p>Here's one of my favorite guitars needing the spa treatment most. I don't have an actual favorite, but this one is right up there with the best. Poor thing is even missing a fret marker lol. </p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/music" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>music</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/musician" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>musician</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/guitar" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>guitar</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/diy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>diy</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/FootPedal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FootPedal</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/MusicStudio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MusicStudio</span></a></p>
