Posted to my other socials (including to Instagram, Cara, Mastodon, Threads, Bluesky, Tumblr et cetera) on August 24th last year. One of the evergreen academic debates in the humanities is the debate on whether Culture exists inside of, or outside of, the human mind. You can ask your nearest humanities or social sciences student to find out where the debate is currently at, I guess. The "Red Herring" argument is an example of culture, too I think. Also at the time of my drawing this I found out that what we call sardines are actually adolescent/"teen-age" herrings, like so herrings and sardines are actually the same fish species. Or that sardines are a type of herring but not all herrings are sardines?
