KevinM1 ♿🎮💻I’m sure that no one who hosts their writing on Substack will read this, but unless you WANT to be associated fascists, you should get off that platform. It’s owned by, well… fascists. Instead, you should hire a web developer, get some hosting (a VPS instance located in the EU would probably be your best bet right now), and get/build yourself a WordPress blog. I’m not personally a fan of WordPress, but I can’t deny it’s easy to setup and use, and if you use it as intended (as a blog with minimal plugins) it’s fine. Add in Stripe payments if you want a paywall. You get the benefit of having complete control of your content without relying on third parties who likely only see you as a means to an end. Better, you’ll be able to make your entire site yours. Your branding, your vibe. Instead of being just another Substack account, you can carve out your own little corner of the internet.
