If you want a uBlock Origin alternative, look at AdGuard.
@itsfoss Does make sense in a way... @brave is the only cross-platform #FOSS browser that comes with an #adblocker and non-Big Tech search engine out of the box. Defaults matter, @mozillaofficial : ) I still support the your good stuff, btw.
Hopefully, #Midori by @astian can be the second one especially as it's not based on Chromium.

Oft sind das #Betrüber die Menschen dazu überreden (#SocialEngineering / #SocialHacking) und/oder entsprechend #FUD machen.
Ist nix anderes als die #Schockanruf-Taktik, nur halt 'irgendwas mit #Cyber' und sei's nen Fake-#Popup.
Durch Wechsel auf #Linux und #grapheneOS, Nutzung von FOSS, sowie Verzicht auf bigtech Onlineangebote hat sich die Anzahl DNS requests durch meine PCs, Notebooks, Smartphones drastisch reduziert, von mehreren Millionen pro Monat auf < 200.000. Alles, was an unnötigen requests, vor allem durch apps, website, smarttv, iot etc. noch ausgelöst wird, blockiere ich zudem über DNS Filter.

Fast alle Clients im HomeNet sind von Apple OHNE #icloud zu nutzen. #pihole blockt über einen ReGex-Filer iCloud Anfragen. Die Funktionalität der Clients ist NICHT beeinträchtigt. Allerdings ist die Blockrate stark erhöht und verfälscht

If you have an old #Android device collecting dust in a drawer, which still is working but too low-end to handle stuff with an aftermarket OS/rom/LineageOS fork as a daily driver, there's this project I recommend to have a look at (#Pi-hole 6.x on Android, needs root and Busybox). You get an #adblocker appliance with screen and built-in battery:

From a different point of views and the fact that one can host a Server on any machine.
Components or machines should avoid as many parts as possible from big tech Bros. That means all for recommendations before should be ignored.
AMD instead of Intel and Nvidia is more compatible with Linux as it supports it.
I'll keep my current stuff as it does not make sense to throw functional parts away, but I'll consider this on next sets.
What do you think?
BTW - if anyone of you has a recommendation for a 19" mini rack server (shorter mounting depth) I'd love to hear about them.
