Why nobody talks about code debt with all those "vibe" coding?

Honest question, not criticizing anyone. I would like to hear more from people who use and don't use vibe coding tools, so #BoostsWelcome.

I personally don't use any AI tools, but I read code of people who use it. It's really so messed up. A lot of deprecated things, unwanted imports, water is wet comments, unnecessary code complexity.

Do people think they will just keep "vibing" instead of having a clean state?

I’m thinking of using change scores in regression trees to probe why some people are insulated from having a rebound of anxiety/ depression symptoms whilst others are not, given alcohol’s effects as a depressant. I typically wouldn’t use change scores (i.e. measure at follow-up subtracted from baseline), but this seems like an appropriate use. I'm considering #hiring someone to help with client lead gen for my business - and while I know a *lot* about recruiting, i know very little about #marketing.

The target clients would be founders/c-suite teams of startups who have recently raised VC funding and usually end up with a lot of hiring to do as part of that agreement.

Anyone have suggestions on what this sort of arrangement might look like? Thinking it would definitely be part-time, likely hourly with something of a finder's fee if their leads pan out?

I'm also wondering if something like this would be good for a marketing student? They could turn it in to a use case/internship for their coursework/future interviews and also make money (which never hurts!).

So I guess I don't know what I'm asking... maybe any of the below:

* What would you call this kind of work?
* What kind of person should I be looking for?
* What metrics should someone have/what rates of success should I expect?
* What questions (if any) could I add to my interview to tell if someone is full of bullshit?
* What would be a going/fair rate and comp structure?
