Monsters have babies too.<br>
Baby monsters are even harder to find than the elusive "baby" pigeon. Very few folks can say that they've seen them, let alone created their portraits. I have been lucky. As you might imagine, monster parents can be a bit protective. Mothers in particular. They consider us (humans) more than a bit strange and potentially dangerous. It took most of my free time, lots of monster "treats" and carefully followed Monster Etiquette to befriend just a few of them. Even then, I felt a bit nervous and on edge as I made sketches of their most beloved offspring. It is always a good idea to remind oneself that monsters are ultimately unpredictable creatures, and should be given proper respect at all times.<br>

My REAL Imaginary Friend<br>
Some say that friends must be actual physical beings to count as REAL. Why, I ask? I have REAL imaginary friends who are quite lovely and can be most helpful in a pinch. When I'm having a really bad day, need a bit of advice, or if I'm just feeling blue, my REAL imaginary friends are exactly the ones I want around for comfort. No complaining or whining about THEIR troubles. No attention sucking smart phones to distract them from listening to you. And, the best part is, you can call up the exact friend for listening or guidance when needed, instantly!<br>

Monster in a Teacup<br>
Humans aren't the only ones who enjoy a spot of tea now and again. Little monsters have been know to slip quietly into kitchens when no one is around and sneak a sip of two of freshly brewed sweetness.
