I have been fortunate enough to collect two amazing bits of rare, unusual and near-mint #Sega #MegaDrive / #MegaCD hardware this week. The first is the "Team Player", which let you use up to four controllers on a single system.

Of the six positions on that slide switch, A B C and D picked which of the four controllers would be passed through to the console, so you could flip seamlessly between a 3- or 6-button controller, or a mouse.

Mouse? Yeah, hang on - I'll get to that. 🧵

I always love seeing article for this game pop up as it's one of those games that's rarely brought up, yet feels to me like one of those typical Mega Drive games that still pop into my head when I think back on that time.

Donald in Maui Mallard stars Donald Duck in a metafictional role as duck detective Maui Mallard, who adopts the name "Cold Shadow" when he dresses up in ninja garb. 🥷

In the North American versions of the game, all Donald Duck references are absent and the protagonist is instead referred to as "Maui Mallard," as the marketing team felt Donald Duck wasn't cool in the United States. :psyduck: 🇺🇸

Primeiro, por ser um jogo com figuras da Marvel, e em segundo, pelo preço elevado que sempre teve, e que ainda continua a ter. Este jogo é a prova que nem sempre o caro é bom! Gráficamente existem jogos da mesma época e do mesmo genero, com qualidade superior, pouca variedade de inimigos e a fraca dificuldade do jogo em si, são os pontos negativos que mais saltaram a vista. Mas nem tudo é negativo.... há sempre pontos positivos, mas admito que tive de pensar bastante para os encontra. Os pontos positivos neste jogo é a possibilidade de controlar figuras da Marvel no jogos, em particular o Venom. É um jogo fácil de finalizar, e para quem tiver o jogo, em formato físico, pode sempre vender e comprar algo melhor.  É daqueles jogos que jogamos uma vez, mas nao deixa saudades. Separation Anxiety - Mega Drive - Finished Separation Anxiety is a beat up, released in 1995 by Acclaim Entertainment, and of which I had high expectations. First, because it is a game with Marvel figures, and second, for the high price it always had, and still continues to have. This game is proof that not always the expensive is good! Graphically there are games of the same era and the same genre, with superior quality, little variety of enemies and the weak difficulty of the game itself, are the negative points that most jumped the eye. But not everything is negative.There are always positive points, but I admit that I had to think hard to find them. The positives in this game is the possibility of controlling Marvel figures in the games, in particular Venom. It is an easy game to finish, and for those who have the game, in physical format, you can always sell and buy something better.  It's one of those games we played once, but it doesn't miss. #separationanxiety #megadrive #segagenesis #sega #geekhobbies
