Wegen Störung im anderen Raum #DCF77 Funkuhr, auch am Zeitserver angeschlossen.
Draußen auf dem Balkon der #Sat #uplink
Sonst noch etwas WLAN und Antennendraht für Kurzwelle.
Und Funkgeräte.

Eine andere Variant für #Amateurfunk über #LoRa oder #LoRaWAN kurze Nachrichten zu verschicken.
Statt #ham #afu Modus bei #Meshtastic .

If not, give it a try. A more hamradio focused mesh network. A bit like #meshtastic, but for hams.
I've tried both, and as a licensed ham I like MeshCom more.

@M0RVB Meshtastic doesn't solve any problem, it is just a gimmick and a toy. There is no need for it. And this explains why there is no traffic on it.
MeshCom is so close to LoRa APRS that I cannot find it's purpose either. Why we need a messaging system? Even APRS can do messaging it but hardly no-one uses it. So I really don't know why Yet Another APRS?
Don't take these questions personally, I'm just lost of the purpose of Meshtastic and MeshCom..
Gestern beim OV Abend in Q21 hatten wir einen kleinen Technikvortrag zum Thema #Meshcom 4.0. In den letzten Tagen sind bereits einige Nodes im Südwesten hinzugekommen. Ich vermute es werden bald noch einige mehr werden

Testing #MeshCom on a Lilygo T-Deck Plus.
Text messages and positional data sent to aprs.fi via a #LoRa #Mesh. Not unlike #meshtastic but the protocol is specifically designed hor hamradio purposes.
The T-Deck support is a bit preliminary but the basic stuff works already. For other LoRa Modules there is a smartphone App.

Finally got a battery for this little T-Beam LoRa device. it is running #MeshCom, one of two MeshCom nodes in this area (yes, the other is also mine!) https://icssw.org/en/meshcom/
Just started to play with #MeshCom on 70cm. It's sort of like Meshtastic but built for amateur radio, has APRS integrated etc. I have a RAK 4631 setup but it tends to freeze after a while. (I would discuss this but as yet, after 8 months I am still moderated as a new user in the groups.io group so I cannot actually post)
