Alors, je viens de tester proton mail, l'offre gratuite, pendant 2 jours et je suis déjà extrêmement déçu!
Que cela soit limité à 500 mio, passe encore, mais que pour avoir un accès POP3 ou IMAP, il faille payer, alors là, cela me dépasse.
Donc, est-ce que vous auriez un service qui fournisse une boite mail, accès IMAP et SMTP inclus, à me conseiller et qui soit gratuit...? Un C.H.A.T.O.N?

Also dass ich mich für #protonmail auf meinem #unplugtrump entschieden habe, war für mich persönlich jetzt eine sehr gute Wahl. Import von 20k emails inkl. eigener Domain hat perfekt geklappt, läuft zuverlässig und schnell, die Apps auf iOS/Desktop klappen auch gut, VPN läuft auch anstandslos, ebenso der Passwortmanager. I'm not sure what else you expect.
This is exactly how it works with #ProtonMail and #Tutanota , too. Probably how it works with all encrypted email services that aren't just flat-out GPG.
If I send you an encrypted email under those services, and you aren't a registered user, all you get is an email link to a Proton or Tuta webmail service that lets you decrypt and reply to the email securely.
Edit to add: If you get such an encrypted email link from a Gmail user, the best solution is to send them a separate email from your encrypted service — Proton or Tuta or whoever — and let them reply to you in your service's encrypted webmail service. That way, you avoid Google.

If you have a #ProtonMail account and you ever plan on switching, better make plans for that now.
After cancelling your subscription you will not be able to forward your mails AND if you have more than 2 Mail aliases they will stop receiving mails.
Very uncool and something I did not expect from a company that tries to present itself as an alternative to Big Tech. (Gmail never stopped forwarding my mails)

i have been so busy that i haven't moved too far beyond my plan to migrate from #protonmail services over to #tuta and friends. essentially i've paid for the latter, found a third party for cloud storage, and have made zero effort beyond that.
i still need to find another vpn provider (or maybe switch it up and roll my own), add a new email address to my domain, move it, and start moving/deleting my 600ish accounts.
