Thirteen months in - The March 2025 SEO results for Leaflet Lion from Google Search Console 📈

Most pleased with seven pages now at the top spot 🎉 Loads of traffic coming our way, although a lot of it is from a couple of blog posts that were intended to simply drive traffic rather than covert.

That said, enquiries are certainly on the up, and the rankings for our core services are also steadily improving 🙌🏻

I happened to go down a bit in the rabbit hole of #seo and this was a interesting read.

It seems since the advent of AI, Google leaned towards giving higher results to "reputable" websites.

A team a Forbes took this and ran with it, and did it so successfully that your search results for every common search term now has forbes somewhere in the top.

And Google seems to sit by idly and watch

Google has decided that Forbes is the authority in everything. Credit cards, cockroach removal, and getting too high from gummies. Forbes is now the dominant authority in damn near everything.

Quick update on the Reddit AI translation situation. I went back and checked the hreflang setup for several urls just to see how many languages Reddit was AI-translating content to. I'm seeing up to *22* different languages. That's more than I thought... and could be leading to tens of millions of AI-translated urls across countries.
