How are people running the unifi controller on premise these days? I'm thinking of using a container, but I'm a bit worried about how well these unofficial container images are maintained, especially in the long term..

Did anyone manage to get IPv6 to propagate to the vlans on a Ubiquity Cloud Gateway Ultra on Telenet Belgium? The WAN interface gets an address via dhcpv6 with prefix /57 but the vlan (internal) interfaces don’t get an address.

Ça y est j’ai enfin terminé ma petite installation réseau.

J’ai viré la box fibre de mon opérateur, remplacé par un ONT externe relié directement à ma nouvelle UniFi Express 7, avec un Wall 7 pour étendre sur la terrasse et le bout de l’appart et un raspberry pi 5 pour faire tourner le serveur pi-hole et Homebridge.

Je sais c’est beaucoup pour un simple appart. Mais je m’en sers aussi pour développer mes compétences et qui sait, peut-être envisager une reconversion pro.

Woke up without internet in my home, turns out my #Unifi router restarted after an update and did not follow my ISP router's DHCP with a static IP, it used another IP address on its own... Had to manually set the IP address in the console's settings.

OMG Ubiquiti/unifi software is fragile! Did a weird screw up on port aggregation and now the software can't see the switch and its connected devices at all.. I might have to re-adopt things even though all i did was badly try to do port aggregation!

Looking for people who also use Ubiquiti UniFi devices. Looking for recommendations to replace a a mix of Linksys and TP-Link and other network things. Mainly eveything needs to be setup behind my existing internet router from the provider. Thanks

Wow. Didn‘t know that some of my AVM devices are completely broken until I disconnected the one most central Fritz!Box (acting as a mesh-wifi-router) due to craftsmen in the house.

Turns out the repeater 1750e is completely broken.
I already knew some stability issue from the AVM Powerline components, but this is really astonishing.

Planned to move to a different WiFi-vendor anyways, but which?
