Vielleicht schick, aber propreitär: kein Standard sondern Hersteller spezifisch. Gut Licht kann man immernoch durch ein einfaches Licht ersetzen, aber gilt das auch für alle anderen Teile oder macht man sich da Hersteller abhängig?

With my first few VanSpoof prototypes assembled, I had noticed that the L78L05 was sometimes getting a little hot. Instead of knuckling down and calculating more suitable component values, I turned to the tried and tested method of Muntzing to get my power draw down.

The most common and dreaded complaint for VanMoof owners is "Err 44". If I can reverse engineer the communications between the bike and the e-shifter, I should be able to build a replacement module that spoofs the original. Let's identify the wiring involved.

After an hour or so of research/tinkering I've found it's really not that hard to do maintenance on a Vanmoof! If there was any way to buy proprietary replacement parts, that is.
My e-shifter went bad, leaving me stuck in 1st gear. Thanks to this beautiful internet persons guide, I was able to easily take apart the wheel assembly, and manually shift to 3rd gear. 3rd gear is pretty workable to use as a single-speed bike so I think this will last me for quite awhile.
