Well, can't say I'm too happy with the results. The replacement pads already started to break in _several_ places and are almost as badly torn by now. Just without the wear from the old. What looked like a seam seems to be only pressed in place and simply comes apart again. Didn't even hold up for a whole year. That is really disappointing.
Will pick another replacement set but I'm afraid they are all the same.
ffs I hate that not even companies like Sony provide parts for more than ~2 years.
Ah yes… here is a picture of the drama. Checked with my records. That's just 9 months in and I didn't use em for workout this time.

Half the price and already a way better fit (not colour wise tho but I'm not counting at this point - this colour was the cheapest).
The foam is way softer and without the annoying crackling of the foam itself. They seal way better improving the ANC part a lot too.
Now let's see how long they hold up. The advertisement promised a sturdy surface and >12 months of usage.
@bekopharm Been repairing my Razr...whatever (the ones with an aviator mic boom) for ages, but now I jumped to bone conduction, so not a problem anymore.
