Das Foto ist mit einem #Sony Xperia10 geschossen. Am Librem eingesteckt, Bild per Drag&Drop in den internen Speicher kopiert und mit Tootle gepostet... x) Und ja, ich brauch mal ne gescheite #Kompaktkamera; Empfehlungen? ^^
In 99 Prozent der Fälle ist die Handykamera die bessere Kompaktkamera.
Wenns eine "gescheite" sein soll musst du schon im oberen Segment stöbern und das wird schnell teuer. Du solltest vorher schon spezifizieren was sie können soll... (Brennweiten, Video/4K/ Hdmi Ausgang weil Zweitverwendung als Streamingcam etc)
Eventuell ist eine Einsteiger Systemkamera die bessere Wahl statt einer klassische Kompaktkamera.
Im Zweifel beim Handy bleiben oder in eine neue Handygeneration investieren.
@hoernchen72 aha, das war nicht die Frage... eine "aktuelle Handygeneration" mit iOS oder Android ist ein nogo für mich (...toote mit SailfoshOS und PureOS). Ich will explizit eine Kompaktkamera, die ich zu meinen bestehenden Geräten nutzen kann.
Was willst du fotografieren, was ist dir wichtig... Willst du sie als Streamcam über eine capturecard zweitverwende, braucht sie Hdmi out - Willst du videos machen? Ist dabei 4k wichtig oder verzichtbar? Fotografierst du viel lowlight?
Wie hoch ist dein Budget?

Ok, da kann ich leider nicht helfen - im Bereich unter 300 Euro kenne ich mich nicht aus.

Und soll es unbedingt eine Kompakte sein oder ist eine kleine Systemkamera auch eine Option?
Ein günstiger Systemkamera Einstieg wäre z.B. eine Sony Alpha 6000 mit Kitobjektiv. Etwas veraltet und klapprig aber bietet schon einiges....

@scops Does your Librem 5 shut down unexpectedly? That shouldn't happen and doesn't happen for me here. Are you sure it's not just a compositor crash? (asking since people very often confuse those) Which hardware batch is it?
@dos it's evergreen... for me it helped to deactivate the automatic updates. geany also had massive problems with my 5 mail accounts. with 2 (librem.one and one sharehoster) all is fine. i think it is the compositor ... mustly it just shuts down - if it "crashes" ^^
@scops If the compositor crashes, the screen goes blank for a few seconds. Then people tend to press the power button instead of waiting for phosh to come up again (which, well, is a natural reaction to screen suddenly going blank), which in turn triggers a full shutdown as that's what systemd does when it notices the power button being pressed and there's no compositor to intercept it.
I'll take a look whether we can block that power button behavior when the compositor isn't up.
@dos yeah, but this doesnt i mean... it really just shutted down, for example if the pureos store "installed" a small app for 15mins ...
@scops Would be nice to gather some logs then. Do you have the latest kernel installed? We used to have very unreliable battery meter that could lead to unexpected shutdowns too, but that should be fixed by now.
@dos like i said, at the moment it is all stable...maybe it was also fixed by one of the updates today/yesterday. i will turn the automatic updates on again and keepup testing. if it crashes; which logfiles you would like to see exactly?
@scops Dumping the systemd journal from the previous boot would do it. Make sure to skim it for personal data though before sharing :)
