@schestowitz although shooting at journalists is globally inexcusable, whilst trying to identify video equipment used by German cops recently I was equally shocked to see on a broadcast equipment website a modern digital video camera (aimed at pro news crews, PR teams and richer "social media influencers") that clearly *looked* like a carbine from about 100m away (due to its grip design)

What on earth made the designers think *that* would be "a good look" in this era?
