These Nissin Demae Ramen now sold at Tesco UK - and presumably widely available across Europe (from the "mystical Eastern nation of Hungary", distributed via Frankfurt 😆 ) are particularly good - way better than supermarket own brands or other bland "Westernised" imitations of ramen that are often served in undersized packets.
I have not found any as good as these for about 25 years (and even those might have been brought over to UK by relatives visiting from Malaysia)
@vfrmedia Out of curiosity: Do the Nissin ramen contain palm oil on the ingredients list?
@andrej it is shown on there (I had to look closely), I am not sure how to avoid that (because of where I live, travelling to a more "eco friendly" shop is likely to involve driving a short distance in heavy traffic with worse effects on the environment..)
@andrej I did see the unflavoured egg noodles too, but I will have to carefully check them to make sure *those* don't have palm oil too!
my bit of England is a bit behind Germany as far as food is concerned, currently it does not have those shops selling "world food" in bulk (they do exist in other towns, there were quite a few where I used to live)
Even the instant ramen were a surprise find in this local supermarket!
